Design of unconventional aggregate batch tank and aggregate feed system. The plant was fitted with a SIMEM MSO6000 Twin Shaft mixer and was of the drive-through type.
(Innoquip sub-contract to Besser-Appco, San Antonio, Texas)
The aggregate tank is divided into six equal compartments with a total capacity of 300 tons.
The aggregates are weighed up in a cumulative batcher.

As the first picture shows: The best designs start with a Bud. The "Bud" picture unjustly suggests "off the cuff" design. Due to the unusual shape and the potential differential loading, the Innoquip Design Group applied more than usual detailed Finite Element Analysis to assure structural "fit for purpose" capacity.
